What fire safety regulations should the design of a clean workshop comply with?
Date:2023/5/16 | Views:797
A clean workshop is a relatively enclosed space, and once an emergency occurs, the risk factor will be higher than that of a regular workshop. In order to avoid casualties, the fire protection requirements of the clean workshop are also very strict. Let's take a look at what fire protection regulations the design of the clean workshop needs to comply with.

  1‘’ Fire regulations

The "Code for Design of Clean Buildings" (GB50073) divides the fire hazard level of clean workshops into three categories: A, B, and C. The clean rooms for Class A and Class B production should be single story, with a maximum allowable building area for fire compartments. Single story factories should be 3000 square meters, and multi story factories should be 2000 square meters; The maximum allowable building area for the fire compartment of clean rooms produced in categories C, D, and E should comply with the current "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings". In addition, the materials used to build a clean workshop should also be mainly insulation and flame retardant materials, which comply with fire safety regulations.

  2‘’ Layout requirements

In order to avoid accidents during fire evacuation, factors such as evacuation crowds, evacuation routes, and evacuation distances should be considered in the design. A layout that is most suitable for fire evacuation should be designed based on scientific calculations, and the setting of exits should also be considered to facilitate rapid evacuation of personnel. In addition, as the clean workshop is a relatively enclosed space, it is best to have a set of emergency lighting equipment to prevent power outages in the event of a fire, and personnel cannot find a safe exit in the dark.

  3‘’ Equipment Safety

Clean workshops are generally equipped with fans or air conditioning systems, which often require long-term high-speed operation. If not regularly inspected and maintained, it is easy to cause overheating and fire. It is recommended to choose a modular clean room developed by Dexin Zhiyuan, equipped with an intelligent control system. Each fan will be displayed separately on the control panel. Once a fan malfunctions, it will automatically pause and alarm to prevent the machine from overheating and causing a fire.

The above are the fire safety standards that need to be considered in the design process of the clean workshop. Regardless of the industry's production, safety is the most important, and the first step is to ensure safety in order to improve production efficiency.
